In dialog with our employees

It is important to KraussMaffei to maintain an honest dialog with employees. Active discussions with all employees are indispensable in ensuring that the work environment is constructive. Our employee magazine ONE provides information on changes to the company around the world and calls on our employees to voice their opinions. ONE is a magazine by and for employees. We encourage all KraussMaffei employees throughout the group and around the world to actively participate through project reports, ideas, experiences, articles about hobbies and a wide variety of activities.

We also notify our employees of company news at events or through separate newsletters. Key topics include strategic changes and promotions, such as the acquisition of the company by ChemChina. The project group assembled for this purpose is currently integrating various Chinese plants into the KraussMaffei Group and regularly notifies employees through various means. In addition, we also held an intercultural training session for selected employees that focused on Chinese culture. The objective of the measure was to assist our employees in simplifying communication with Chinese colleagues, to respond appropriately in various situations and to prevent misunderstandings.

In an effort to recruit potential employees, we are a regular fixture at university trade shows and HR events. We are also in constant contact with young talent through partnerships with universities and other institutions of higher learning.

In dialog with our customers

Our customers contribute substantially to our success as a company by purchasing our products and utilizing our services. For this reason, long-term, proven collaboration is one of our most important objectives. Not only do we work closely with our customers to find the perfect production and system solutions for them, we also maintain active contact with them outside of the scope of project work. We are a regular fixture at trade shows, where we present our new products and processes live. This face-to-face contact promotes customer loyalty, which contributes to our long-term company success.

In addition, we publish a biannual customer magazine, AHEAD, in both German and English. In this magazine, we report on product innovations, new market developments and successful customer projects. Each brand publishes a version tailored to its respective customers. In addition to specialized topics, we provide our customers across the group with information on business-relevant changes. In early 2016, we reported on the company acquisition by Chinese chemicals company ChemChina and in July 2015, we introduced our new CEO Dr. Frank Stieler.

Everywhere from Haiyan (China) to Hanover, Munich and Sučany (Slovakia) to Florence (Kentucky, USA) and Querétaro (Mexico), we regularly open doors for our customers and introduce new technologies and machines, as is shown in these selected examples:
